Partners in Mission Food Bank will be holding its annual food Blitz on May 5th 2018 from 10 am to 5pm at 9 area grocery stores to collect food and funds. We are so grateful to our incredible volunteers from:
Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School, Kingston and Area Real Estate Association, Royal Military College, RBC, Kingston Rotary and Hotel Dieu Hospital for organising the teams again this year. Collections will be happening at the following grocery stores:
Loblaws – Princess St.
Loblaws – Midland Ave.
Freshco – Princess St.
Bennett’s Value Mart – Gore Rd.
Food Basic’s – Hwy 15
Grant’s No Frills – Division St.
Metro Bayridge – Bayridge Dr.
Gord and Kim’s No Frills – Coverdale Dr.
Metro – Bath Rd.
Volunteers will be greeting shoppers at the front door to ask them to make a donation and providing a collections bag. There will also be an opportunity to make a cash donation as well. Those who will not be shopping that day and would like to make a donation can visit the website www.kingstonfoodbank.net and make a contribution there.
