Experience a fabulous weekend of Reading by the River at the 1000 Islands Writers Festival with some of Canada’s favourite authors!

The festival opens with a celebration of storytelling with Stories A Matter of Life and Death.
This year’s festival also includes a Songwriters Series with local songwriters Kevin Head, Cliff Edwards and Jenica Rayne.
The festival will host eleven Living Room Sessions, three Writers Workshops, a free Pirate Party Bonanza for families, two meal engagements, two special afternoon events and an evening celebration with Stories and Songs of the River.
