Kingston WritersFest presents: Dr. Britt Wray in Generation Dread: Finding Purpose in an Age of Climate Crisis

Kingston WritersFest presents Dr. Britt Wray, in a special online event Wednesday, May 11 at 7pm EDT.
Dr. Britt Wray is a writer and broadcaster who studies the emotional and psychological impacts of the climate crisis. She will join Professor John Smol (bio below), for a timely conversation about eco-anxiety and her new book, Generation Dread: Finding Purpose in an Age of Climate Crisis.

This is a virtual event, and the “onstage” conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A. To make the event as accessible as possible, Kingston WritersFest is offering tickets on a sliding scale basis, with a special student rate.

Kingston WritersFest has established itself not only as a prime Kingston cultural event, but also as one of the top Canadian literary festivals, returning to an in-person model September 28 – October 2, 2022. Kingston WritersFest aims to connect readers and writers in engaging, spontaneous, and unscripted conversations that inspire dialogue, and expand our worldviews.
