Partners in Mission Food Bank’s “Food Blitz” is back on this year! Saturday April 9th , 10am – 4pm. Our goal is to collect 30,000 lbs of food on Blitz day and $60,000 during the month of April. Volunteers will be collecting money and non-perishable food donations at the following grocery stores:

- Cereal (Non-sugar)
- Pasta & Pasta Sauce
- Stews, Chunky Soups & Canned Tomatoes
- 100% Fruit Juice – 1 litre size
- Baby Food & Diapers
2021 was a record year for Partners in Mission food bank food hampers, with 14,229 distributed, helping 6022 Kingston neighbours (including 1788 children). 3151 Households in the Kingston area needed our help last year. In 2021, the food we distributed was valued at over $2.8 million. January and February set new monthly records for food hamper distribution. Partners in Mission Food Bank has been helping Kingston neighbours in need since 1984. Partners in Mission Food Bank has been providing food hampers to our Kingston neighbours in need for over 37 years.
As food prices rise those challenged with food insecurity get further behind.
