The Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area and Big Brothers Big Sisters of KFL&A are coming together to organize a special Pink Shirt Day campaign under the slogan, “Be Safe, Be Kind, Be You,” with proceeds funding their local anti-bullying and positive mentoring programs. COVID-19 has spiked the need for support of anti-bullying: as kids spend long times online, cyberbullying is on the rise. That is why Pink Shirt Day has a special meaning this year. The need for local children and youth is greater and the pandemic has shown us the power of a supportive community and of small acts of kindness. Purchasing a Pink Shirt is a SMALL act with a BIG impact!
