The first ever Hockey Helps the Homeless University Event was run in Kingston in February 2014 for the benefit of the Kingston Youth Shelter. Six teams took to the ice in a full day tournament and raised over $22k. Since then, Queen’s has inspired new collegiate tournaments in London and Durham.
Now in its fifth year, and still the organization’s largest student-run tournament, HHTH – QU is continually building on the successes and momentum of its past tournaments — we raised $75k last year alone — to continue fighting youth homelessness in the Kingston area.
