Big Locals

The Gertrudes

It’s not often we have fiddles and a banjo on our stairs so we were happy to welcome Greg and The Gertrudes! They draw inspiration from places around Kingston like this song they call “The Battersea Shuffle.” Catch them live at the Doula Support Foundation’s benefit concert this Saturday Nov 23/19.

Figure 8

Seth Hunt is 19-years old and happy that he can legally drink now in the establishments where he plays! He fronts a band called Figure 8 and they released a new single ‘Notion‘ on July 12th, 2019.

Ten Minute Detour

Jordan and Andrew from Ten Minute Detour love to visit Kingston, they stopped by before a couple shows at The Merchant to do “Woodshed” from their album Common Pleasure.

Miss Emily

Always nice when Miss Emily pops by, she did a Session on the Stairs before her show at the Isabel Bader called “Miss Emily Sings Kingston 2.”  Check out her cover of the Betablokka song “High Side Down.”

Smitty

After the Humboldt Broncos tragedy in Saskatchewan, Kingston’s Smitty touched a lot of hearts with his song “Stick out by the Door” and donated all the proceeds to the victims and their families.

The Wilderness

Kingston’s own The Wilderness took up a residency at The Brooklyn pub and treated us to their song Hurry Up and Wait in an energetic Session on the Stairs.

In My Coma

Shortly after releasing their album Next Life, In My Coma brought their epic piano and guitar sounds to our studios and did their first single Take A Ride.

Tom Savage

Before his CD release party at The Mansion Tom Savage brought his big voice and acoustic guitar for a Session on the Stairs.  Check out “Burnt By The Sun.”
